The Department of Musicology and Cultural Heritage is pleased to invite applications for a Postdoctoral Research Fellowship as part of the ERC Synergy Project REM@KE(Reconstructing Embodied Musical Knowledge at the Keyboard). The successful candidate will join an interdisciplinary research team based in Italy, Sweden, and the UK, collaborating with leading scholars in organology, empirical and historical musicology, music cognition, artistic research, psychoacoustics, and digital humanities.

| The Researcher designs the architecture of the online repository and coordinates team members in managing documentation protocols and information technologies. The Researcher is responsible for designing and implementing complex graph databases aligned with the new documentation standards developed within the project.
The position also involves designing and conducting psychoacoustic and behavioral tests, with particular attention to mixed-methodologies typical of human–computer interaction and to integrating data collection, management, and analysis processes through Bayesian models. The Researcher actively contributes to the co-design of sonic interactions for virtual prototypes of musical instruments and immersive eXtended Reality (XR) experiences.

Funding and Benefits
- € 35.174,18 per year, before taxes.
