The Department of Musicology and Cultural Heritage is pleased to invite applications for a Postdoctoral Research Fellowship as part of the ERC Synergy Project REM@KE(Reconstructing Embodied Musical Knowledge at the Keyboard). The successful candidate will join an interdisciplinary research team based in Italy, Sweden, and the UK, collaborating with leading scholars in organology, empirical and historical musicology, music cognition, artistic research, psychoacoustics, and digital humanities.

The researcher will work on the documentation protocol and case studies from the microecologies within the ERC-Synergy Project REM@KE. Will co-organise and participate in research seminars and presentations at the first and mid-term conferences. Will work in collaboration with the Arvedi Lab with Malagodi and Fiocco, and in a team with the CNR-ISPC Researchers. They will specialise in photogrammetry, 3D modelling, and  Digital Twins of Keyboard Musical Instruments

Funding and Benefits

  •  € 31.143,56  per year, before taxes.
  • Travel allowance for conferences, workshops, and research trips.
