Biography
Elia Pivetta holds a PhD in Literary and Musical Textual Studies and is currently a Research Fellow in the Department of Musicology and Cultural Heritage at the University of Pavia, Cremona campus, where he is involved in the ERC Synergy project Rem@ke. Having graduated in Law and Musicology, he also undertook studies in Organ and historical keyboard instruments at the Conservatorio di Udine and the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis in Switzerland. His research focuses on the historical and philological study of eighteenth-century music, alongside its cognitive and performative dimensions, with particular emphasis on the Italian, and especially Venetian, context.
